What a fantastic interior designer to work with! Rachael obviously loves what she does. She is very professional. The whole experience was fun because she made it that way. She has a knack for creating the right environment by integrating her clients personality and style into her design choices and direction.
She stays within your projected budget and can handle any size job for you. The mockups she does for you lets you visualize the design in your space.
If you've just bought a home, or need to change the one you've got, Rachael can help you navigate redecorating, updating, and the daunting challenge of picking room colors that reflect your mood and taste.
Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Perennial Design Studio.

Rachael went above and beyond to make my first house into a real home. She really helped me hone in on the vibe I was going for, guided me when I was having difficulty making decisions, and executed the vision perfectly. I honestly wish my home was bigger so we could execute all of her mock-ups because they were all so thoughtful and her attention to detail is unmatched.
She was also mindful of my budget and made sure to add elements that worked AND were in my price range.Rachael has impeccable taste, professionalism, initiative and exceeded my expectations.

I will 100% be using her for all my design services in the future and HIGHLY recommend using Perennial Design Studio for your design projects.

We recently worked with Rachael from Perennial Design Studio on a renovation of our kitchen and bathroom and furnishing of our living room, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From the very beginning, she brought a perfect mix of creativity, professionalism, and attention to detail that truly transformed our space.

In the kitchen, she helped us stretch our budget to make changes that were high impact. She was able to blend counter, tile, lighting, and hardware selections with the current traditional cabinets to update the space. She also even came on site for installation of countertops while we were out of town to ensure everything went smoothly - and we’re glad she did since there was a major error that occurred that she was able to get corrected quickly.

The bathroom renovation was equally impressive. She turned an outdated space into a stylish and serene, spa-like retreat. Every design element—from the tile to the fixtures—was spot-on and reflected our personal style perfectly.

Communication throughout the project was smooth and prompt, Rachael was always available to answer questions or suggest solutions when unexpected issues came up. She handled all the recommendations for and coordination with various contractors, which really helped eliminate a lot of the stress of undertaking a renovation. We also really appreciated that she was willing to find ways to accomplish the scope of work within our budget. She was up front and honest about what was realistic and what wasn’t and worked hard to find high quality materials and furnishings at a reasonable price.

We’re so grateful for the transformation and highly recommend Perrenial Design Studio to anyone looking to renovate their home with someone who truly cares about your style and preferences as well as budget. Rachael truly is a joy to work with and our renovation experience was so much better than expected thanks to her!

FAQ

What services do you offer?

We are an interior design studio specializing in residential design from concept to completion. Our services include space planning, finish and furnishing selection, custom interiors, and project coordination with contractors. Whether you need help with a single room or a full home redesign, we tailor each package to fit your goals and style.

How is your process structured?

We begin with a discovery call followed by an in-home or virtual consultation and a measured site survey. Next comes design development, sourcing, and documentation, leading into purchasing and installation management. This design-to-execution process keeps every project organized, transparent, and stress-free.

Do you handle both modern and traditional aesthetics?

Yes. We create timeless interiors that reflect your personality, whether your taste is modern, classic, or a mix of both. Our mood boards and design presentations show how textures, colors, and proportions work together for a cohesive look.

Can you help with floor plans and layout challenges?

Absolutely. We specialize in functional layouts that optimize flow, storage, lighting, and furniture placement so your space looks beautiful and functions effortlessly.

Do you offer custom solutions?

Yes. Our custom design services include built-ins, millwork, bespoke furnishings, and finish schedules. We prepare detailed drawings and specifications your contractor can follow to ensure a seamless result.

Do you work on renovations and remodels?

Yes. We frequently collaborate on renovation and remodel projects, partnering with builders and trades to align the design vision with your timeline and budget while minimizing change orders.

What if I only need guidance, not full service?

We offer design consultations for personalized guidance on color palettes, finishes, and space planning. This option is ideal for clients who want a professional eye without committing to a full-service project.

Do you design small spaces?

Yes. We design apartments, ADUs, and compact homes using smart storage solutions, multifunctional furniture, and thoughtful lighting to make small spaces feel open and inviting.

What is a realistic project timeline?

Project timelines vary depending on the scope and materials. Design development typically takes a few weeks, while furnishings and custom installations may extend the overall schedule to several months. We provide a clear, detailed timeline before work begins.

How do I get started with Perennial Design Studio?

Book a consultation to review your goals, budget, and style preferences. We’ll recommend the best approach, whether it’s full-service design, a focused room refresh, or à la carte decorating. From there, your designer will craft a tailored plan that brings your vision to life.
